Foundation Repair Case Studies: A failed foundation in Kendal, ON

Challenge

An old home in Kendal Ontario was built on loose fill soil, causing the foundation to drop and break away from the house. This caused damage throughout the home and the customer did not want this damage to get worse with time.

Solution

We used two products to stabilize the foundation. Slab jack push piers were used to support a settling concrete floor. They extend from stable soils deep below the structure to support brackets. Wall push piers were used to stop the house from sinking any further. Now the customer does not have to worry about more damage being done to their house over time.
